Round Table Sri Lanka together with the supportive Side by Side associations – Ladies Circle, 41 Club and Tangents Sri Lanka organised the 2019 Christmas charity project at the Bethesda Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Addicts.

What was planned as a simple lunch was then expanded to be a project where over 300 kids of the inmates and visually impaired families living around the centre got school bags and books and other accessories. There was also a Christmas dinner for over 600 people including the inmates/families/kids/visually impaired couples and their kids, etc.

The champion of this project is RTSL Community Service Convener Randy Cooray who together with his community service team made the project possible with support from members of RT and side by side associations. Round Table is celebrating 25 years in Tabling in the country and with a member base close to 100 carries out regular fellowship and community service activities.
