As Hameedia completes seven decades of providing superior quality menswear and exceptional service to fashionable Sri Lankan men from all walks of life, the company has decided to spend the forthcoming year giving back to its community and clientele as a show of gratitude.
To kick off the festivities, Hameedia is giving out vouchers worth Rs. 1,000 to customers who spend above Rs. 7,500. This offer is valid at all Hameedia showrooms island-wide until 31 December.
Hameedia has a series of programs and promotions lined up for 2020, including its ‘My Friend Foundation’ which works together with organisations to benefit underprivileged children irrespective of religious, ethnic, political, cultural and other backgrounds.
The foundation has also steered many sustainable and environmental initiatives over the years and makes periodic contributions to schools, Ayurveda hospitals and elders homes in an effort to uplift the facilities and lives. Its projects have helped to achieve social integration, infuse new hope for the beneficiaries and empower many.
“We are both proud and humbled to be at the forefront of men’s fashion in Sri Lanka. Our 70-year journey to reach this point has indeed humbled us. We take this opportunity to extend our happiness with the generations of men who have been a part of our success and have always supported us. We will always be committed to providing our customers with the highest quality to meet every expectation. Likewise, we also want to give back to our community, uplift the morale of society and shine a light on its goodness,” said Hameedia Managing Director Fouzul Hameed.
