‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ to be screened in 29 Lankan cinemas from today

Action-adventure comedy film ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ will be screened in nearly 30 cinemas of Sri Lanka from today.

Lavinia; CK by Lite, Kiridiwela; MaxX Lite, Moratuwa; Nikado, Kadawatha; Sky Lite, Matara; Vijayanthi Cinema, Kaduwela; VoxX Lite, Avissawella; Majestic Superior, Colombo; Majestic Ultra, Colombo; Regal Dematagoda; Regal Nuwar Eliya; Regal Gampaha; Regal Silver, Jaffna; Regal Katubadda; Regal Bandarawela; Savoy 3D Colombo; Savoy Metro Gampaha; Cinemax Ja Ela; NIT Ratnapura; Ram Cinema Wattala; Milano Diamond Kegalle; Colombo City Centre; Scope Cinema – Havelock City Mall; Liberty by Scope, Colombo; Liberty by Scope, Kiribathgoda; PVR Cinemas and Kandy City Centre.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is based on the video game series by Sega. The third in the Sonic film series, it was directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington.

Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Idris Elba reprise their roles, with Krysten Ritter and Keanu Reeves joining the cast.

In the film, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles face a new enemy, Shadow the Hedgehog, who allies with the mad scientists Ivo and Gerald Robotnik in pursuit of revenge against humanity.
