Ceylent, the pioneers behind the perfume decanting concept in Sri Lanka and a company that specialises in customising blended perfume options for events such as weddings and birthday parties, is officially launching their website www.ceylent.lk and announcing the unveiling of their flagship store which is set to take place in November 2023.

Ceylent is the rebranding of the well-known brand, Deobox. Following its success, its co-founder Kashin Perera decided to branch into a fully-fledged perfume service offering, introduce the perfume decanting concept to Sri Lanka and relaunch the business as a new brand.

Ceylent, which was launched nearly a year ago, has received positive feedback and support from its customers and partners, enabling them to further grow and develop its products and services. Today, Ceylent holds the proud distinction of being the world’s first perfume service provider. Another unique feature that Ceylent is currently marketing, is extending its services to the events and wedding sector, which makes up the main part of their perfume services offering. This allows customers to have their own perfume blended to their liking. This service is especially popular among wedding couples and luxury event organisers, where people can enjoy a freshly blended perfume made for them to suit their theme, style, and personality.

The personalised service also includes a consultation with the brand’s perfumers, who will guide the customers through the process of selecting the ideal ingredients, notes, and concentrations for their desired scent. What makes the decanting experience worthwhile is that customers can opt to purchase their favourite perfume in smaller variations that range in sizes such as 2ml, 5ml and 10ml. Customers have the chance to consider the decant option as they are budget-friendly and also give customers an opportunity to try out other brands if they wish to sample a number of perfumes before settling for their favourite fragrance or simply to be able to have a number of different perfumes in one go for their daily use.

The types of perfume brands that Ceylent offers come in four concentrations or intensities, which is how perfume blends are usually produced. These include Eau de Parfum (EDP), Eau de Toilette (EDT), Parfum and Elixir. Alongside this is also the ability to pay in instalments via BNPL payment options such as, Koko Pay and Mint Pay. Another unique service that comes with Ceylent is Sri Lanka’s first perfume subscription service. This service allows their customers to purchase their favourite perfume decants as one-month, two-month, or three-month subscriptions. So, it could be the best option for anyone looking to end their perfume-purchasing hustle.

The next major step in Ceylent’s ambitious journey comes in the form of an expansion where the company is set to unveil their flagship store during the month of November. The services offered by Ceylent were initially limited to online orders, but now, customers will have the opportunity to visit and experience their products and services for themselves, very soon. Shedding light on their blended perfume options aimed at weddings involves the creation of a specific perfume concoction to the customer’s preference. This undoubtedly comes as a unique experience that would be memorable for newlyweds on their most special day.

The masterminds behind Ceylent, co-founders Kashin Perera and Thiran Vass, have combined their skills and experiences to create a brand and service that is innovative, authentic, and customer-oriented. They have also leveraged their knowledge of the perfume blending segment, local market and trends to cater to the needs and preferences of their target audience. Ceylent offers a range of luxurious, designer perfumes from famous global brands for both men and women, such as Burberry, Calvin Klein, Davidoff, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Paco Rabanne and many more.

Kashin Perera, who is also the chief perfumer of Ceylent, said: “We are very proud of what we have achieved with Ceylent so far, and we are excited about what lies ahead. We want to offer our customers a unique sensory experience that connects them with their roots, memories, and emotions.”

Thiran Vass too shared his views about their launch and said: “We are very grateful for the support and feedback that we have received from our customers and partners since our launch. We constantly strive to improve our products and services and expand our reach and impact. Our flagship store will be a milestone for us, as it will allow us to interact with our customers more directly and personally.”
