Starlight goes green, launches ‘Super-8 Technology’ detergent

Star Holdings International Ltd. – a 100% Sri Lankan fabric care company with a rich history spanning three decades – unveiled Starlight Herbal Detergent Powder last week, once again revolutionizing the market with a novel super 8 technology.

The inauguration was commenced with a motivational speech by the company’s Director Sulaiman Siraj who said: “We will never stop innovating and introducing great products to our beloved consumers. Today we stand by that promise and yet again we launch a product to revolutionise your household.”

Starlight Herbal Detergent Powder in a striking green package with a see-through window showcases an iconic green powder reaching another milestone as ‘Sri Lanka’s first’ in colour, packaging and formulation.

A line up of dynamic guest speakers, such as Nandana A. Wickramage, a leading marketing and business strategist and TVS Lanka CEO Ravi Liyanage, also commented the fact that Starlight has now become a force to reckon with and is getting ready to positively face the challenges at the “next level,” while Neeraj Gupta, a reputed raw-material supplier, also expressed similar sentiments.

Face of the new product, reigning Miss Derana Sri Lanka Prasadi Rajapakse further enhanced the mood of the event with her charming presence. In a short address to the guests she declared: “Starlight Herbal Detergent Powder is unlike anything I’ve used before. Its smell and properties are unique. I’ve made the switch after using this product. It’s high time that the rest do so too!”

The event comprised of a series of star-studded events that concluded with the Bi-Annual Chairman’s Trophy Award Ceremony with trophies and certificates handed-over to outstanding performances in different categories.
