Uswatte Confectionery Works Ltd., has announced the revival of beloved potato chip brand, Chirpy Chips.

The fun-filled snack is meticulously manufactured using pure potato, and promises 100% food value in every bite. Chirpy Chips was first introduced into the market in 1994, but was discontinued due to Government policies at the time that placed restrictions on the import of high-quality potatoes to the country.

Chirpy Chips is a very affordable and very convenient snack option that is crafted to not only satisfy hunger, but immerse consumers in the flavour of natural ingredients from the very first bite. The chips are available in three flavours – Cheese and Onion, Salted, and Hot N Spicy – and come in multiple sizes including 16g at Rs. 70, 24g at Rs. 100, 50g at Rs. 200, and 73g at Rs. 300. Additionally, they are also the only brand of potato chips that will be available at local grocery stores and leading supermarkets.

The strategist and driving force behind the revival of the Chirpy Chips brand is Uswatte Confectionery Works Ltd., Managing Director Shanura Perera.
