St. Benedict’s College will be having their Annual Carols Program titled ‘A Green Christmas’ on Friday 21 December 2012 at St. Lucia’s Cathedral Kotahena.
This inclusive service will contain secular as well as seasonal carols and music, and is expected to last no more than one hour and 30 minutes. The entrance procession will be at 6:45 p.m. and will be led by the highly-reputed Choir of St. Benedict’s College, which will continue rendering rare arrangements of traditional Christmas carols and songs.
The many times All Island Champion Primary Choir will be rendering Christmas songs with choreography and a musical nativity.
Inspiring choral music will continue with Choro Benedicte with all-time Christmas favorites at its best. Furthermore, the Green Father Christmas would be introduced with his elves.
The program in the cathedral will conclude with a grand finale performance by all three choirs (over 100 voices) combining in popular Christmas songs and medleys.
Thereafter the audience and cast will be led to the Church Quadrangle where there will be musical entertainment by the College Western Band who will keep the feeling of Christmas in the air through their breathtaking instrumentals along with a few food, trade and gifts stalls to complete the evening.
The event is the ideal kick off to your Christmas season with lots of Christmas favorites and music.
