A nostalgic journey

Exactly 60 years ago – in October 1952 – the University of Ceylon shifted to Peradeniya. What was University of Ceylon – Peradeniya became the Peradeniya Campus – University of Sri Lanka in 1972. Since 1978, it has been the University of Peradeniya. From a single university 60 years ago, today Sri Lanka has 15 State universities.
