Alpha Industries, one of the leading furniture manufacturers in Sri Lanka, launched a unique ‘Scratch & Save’ Avurudu promotion that is available for home and office furniture and safes displayed at their showrooms
This promotion will take place from 10 March to 30 April. All customers purchasing any home or office furniture item at an Alpha showroom island wide will be entitled to a 15% discount. In addition to this discount, based on the value of the purchase, the customer will be given a scratch card. Each scratch card will present the customer with the opportunity to receive a surprise in the form of an additional discount or a free gift. Customers can redeem the discount if they make a purchase on or before 30 April. The promotion covers all products sold at the Alpha showrooms.
Alpha showrooms are located in Colombo 3, Colombo 7, Nawala, Maharagama, Gampaha, Negombo, Kurunegala, Kandy, Panadura, Ratnapura, Matara and Jaffna. The company opened their latest Concept Store, specifically created to fill the gap between affordable home furniture and luxury furnishings, at Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 7.
Sharing his thoughts on the promotion, Alpha Industries Director Sales and Marketing Safraz Careem stated, “For all those celebrating this wonderful festival, the Avurudu season is a time for new beginnings at both home and office. In keeping with our traditions, we at Alpha Industries have commenced a promotion to provide our valued customers the chance to brighten up the look and feel of their homes and offices with new furniture.” He added that the unique mechanism and six-week promotion period will provide all customers ample time to make purchases and return to redeem their discounts during this busy period. “With some of the scratch cards offering 100% discount, there is a great incentive for customers to flock to Alpha showrooms,” he claimed.
Alpha Industries is a subsidiary of FINCO Group that manufactured steel office furniture during its early days and later expanded to manufacture all kinds of security safes for which it continues to be the market leader even today. The company later ventured into the manufacturing of steel, melamine and wood-based office furniture in addition to designing and executing its own office interiors. The company operates three state-of-the-art factories and employs approximately 650 employees. Today, Alpha also manufactures furniture for homes, hospitals and the leisure sector.
