Anything.lk is proud to announce that its retail outlet now features an exclusive amanté lingerie store. MAS Holdings launched amanté – a premium lingerie brand – in 2007, primarily for the Indian market, and now after five years the brand has come home to Sri Lanka. Whilst 2012 was a limited launch for amanté, the brand plans to extend their existing product range and sizes by 2013.

“Creating a successful brand requires so many skill sets, especially solid partnerships. If you make the mistake of starting with the wrong partner you may well find you have to walk away from an idea you really love because your business never gets off the ground. Anything.lk brings to our partnership the classiness, the intimacy and the expertise amanté needs to be successful in this market,” said Ajay Amalean, Director of MAS Holdings and amanté.

While customers are able to buy amanté’s products online at Anything.lk, the opening of a store at Anything.lk’s retail outlet was done with the intention of accommodating customers who prefer direct in-store exposure to a product rather than the virtual experience of online shopping.

It was also a practical decision given that selecting lingerie requires direct interaction with sales staff in order for customers to make informed choices about the products they wish to purchase.

Despite the fact that Anything.lk offers island-wide delivery and a variety of payment methods, one-third of its business is conducted offline with customers preferring to visit its retail outlet. In order to address this growing trend, Anything.lk considered it necessary to open a 4,000 sq. ft. customer experience centre replete with ambiance and a sense of space.

A key aspect of Anything.lk’s customer experience centre is the focus on enhancing customer experience and care. In order to accomplish this, Anything.lk has made sure that there is constant personal interaction between its staff and customers, as well as complete mobility and comfort for its customers as a result of the absence of counters, and an overall friendly in-store atmosphere.

Although well-known implementations of this concept of interaction can be found around the world in the e-commerce business, Anything.lk remains to be the only company to have successfully implemented it in Sri Lanka.

The introduction of the physical service component to Anything.lk’s range of services and retail structure demonstrates that the business is developing into much more than an online e-commerce website.

“The decision to open up an amanté store made complete sense. Educating customers is a significant element of the experience that we deliver. amanté similarly has a philosophy to educate Sri Lankan ladies on correct fitting lingerie and quality manufacturing,” stated Reeza Zarook, CEO of Anything.lk.

“Post education Anything.lk takes over through our ability to provide a convenient, hassle free shopping experience by utilising our online capabilities and nationwide delivery.”
