Art to strengthen friendship between Japan and Sri Lanka

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Sri Lanka will launch an island-wide art competition among school children in honour of the 60th anniversary of Japan Official Development Assistance (ODA). “I hope that this art competition will raise public awareness of Japan’s support for Sri Lanka and strengthen and nurture the bond between the two countries,” said JICA Chief Representative Kiyoshi Amada.
The competition theme is ‘Friendship between Sri Lanka and Japan’ and school children under 15 years will be eligible to submit entries from 14 July 2014 to 31 August 2014. All necessary information to participate can be collected from the following links:
