Atlas believes in encouraging children to realise their potential and that a better future can be unlocked through education. Atlas demonstrates its vision by providing quality user friendly tools (school and office stationary) to inspire them to enjoy each step of learning in the journey of life.
Atlas, Sri Lanka’s leading brand in school and office stationary was part of the ever popular International Book Fair, now in its 17th year of existence. Making its presence felt, reaching out to engage with people and communities of all ages and places, irrespective of age or race, the Atlas stall was a riot of colour, and activity giving every visitor an unforgettable experience and memory of their visit to the book fair.
Atlas believes that creativity is the cornerstone of helping both children and adults unleash their hidden potential and also helps to bring out the best in them. The main attraction at the Atlas stall is the ‘Atlas Family challenge’ – an exciting and fun filled art and craft activity that gives the entire family an opportunity to unleash their creative ability and win gifts with the help of Atlas Products. Fashioned on the format of the popular TV show MasterChef, six pairs of participants got to create a craft in a period of 10 minutes. Teams of mothers and daughters, friends and even pairs of teachers enjoyed the time to be creative and make lovely creations ranging from party hats and photo frames to fancy mugs, their best loved car to a bunch of flowers to name a few.
Many others also had engaging moments spinning the Atlas wheel of fortune and taking a shot at the Atlas Cool dart board, whilst the little ones found immense joy and satisfaction in colouring their favourite Disney characters and others had selfie opportunities with the toons as well.
All who walked through the Atlas creative space experienced the new innovative products from Atlas including the new school backpacks recently launched and the brand new range of premium books Innov8.
The Atlas tree of thoughts capturing the sentiments of many who engaged with the activities and the brand, once again re-iterated the strong loyalty, bond and love that adults and children alike have for this brand that is committed to give them ‘tools for success’. Commenting on the immersion at the book fair Atlas Marketing Director Ramani Samarasundera had this to say: “We are very excited and happy with the experience we have been able to create for all those who came for the book fair. We look forward to pioneering new products, new propositions and new experiences for our consumers to touch feel, giving them tools for success every day.”
