The Kingsbury, known to cater with luxury in hand, introduces its patrons to an all-new experience with culture and festivity on the menu; the Sunday Avurudu Brunch!

In celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, The Kingsbury’s weekly Sunday Oyster Brunch will be adapted to the festive instincts of Sri Lankan culture, giving its guests an experience of cultural hospitality. The standard Sunday Oyster Brunch at the hotel will be extended to include an assortment of choices which features a selection of traditional food and sweet meats ranging from the customary ‘kawum’, ‘kokis’ and ‘kiribath’ (milk rice), with an assortment of sinful confections and much more, offering something for every palate. The traditional outdoor games will include Raban (drum) beating, Chak Gudu, Kotta Pora, and many more lively indulgences for the entire family. The hotel will illuminate the sensation of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, scenting the atmosphere with culture and tradition. That’s not all, the view of the ocean; The Kingsbury’s signature feature, will be an enticing fervor for its guests as they drown in the merriments.
