For decades, Lux has been bringing the best of beauty, and the pleasure that comes with it to every woman in the world. Made like the costliest French soap and known as the beauty secret of some of the most glamorous stars, Lux’s alluring beauty treats delight women in more than 100 countries worldwide every day.
At this year’s Hiru Golden Film Awards, Lux presented the Award for the Most Popular Actress of the Year, which was won by Udari Perera. In addition a delicately crafted rose necklace of gold was also presented to Udari by Lux upon being presented her award on stage at the film awards.
Adding glamour and colour to the event were a galaxy of Bollywood stars including Madhuri Dixit, Karishma Kapoor, Sridevi Kapoor, Niel Nethin Mukesh, Jackie Sherof, Bonnie Kapoor and Sunil Shetty.
Lux in its journey of decades has always been a brand which has associated itself with the stars and at every turn has supported talent and stars throughout their careers. Partnering some of the biggest names both locally and globally, Lux is proud today to continue this journey with celebrities from both Sri Lanka and neighbouring India who were part of the entourage at the Hiru Golden Film awards with Lux.
“We hope that with this association the bonds between Lux and the stars of the Silver Screen, will grow from strength to strength, enabling us to support our very own celebrities of this era to bloom better than ever before with Lux,” said Inura Jayasuriya, Brand Manager for Lux.
Lux affirmed its commitment to support local celebrities and the entertainment industry continuously. “We want to see that our stars and the industry shine above all. Over the years this iconic brand has evolved and remained true to its promise of making each and every woman feel beautiful throughout its lengthy history and Lux will continue to do just that.”
Coincidentally Lux also provided an opportunity for one lucky consumer to win herself a delicately crafted rose necklace of gold, identical to that which was presented to Udari.
“All consumers need to do is SMS Lux<Space> and the name of their favourite Lux variant to 6997,” said Jayasuriya. This promotion will continue until 24 September giving a lucky Lux user the opportunity of winning gold from their favourite soap brand.
Lux, whose fragrance now infused with floral fusion oil that makes its perfume superior to real roses, has bettered itself from its origins and mirrors the aspirations of every woman – to take the ordinary and bring out the extraordinary in herself in every moment.
“Scent is a key part of a woman’s invisible wardrobe and personality, and with each evolution of Lux, its perfume has just kept getting better!”
