BreadTalk awarded ‘A’ grade certificate for cleanliness, food hygiene

BreadTalk, a Singapore franchise, was awarded an ‘A’ grade certificate of commendation in recognition of the excellence achieved in terms of cleanliness and food hygiene by the Food Authority, City of Colombo. The certificate was awarded to all four BreadTalk outlets located in Colombo, making BreadTalk the only restaurant chain where all outlets have been awarded an ‘A’ grade certificate – a feat that speaks volumes of the attention to detail the restaurant puts forth in providing the best to their clientele.
The awards were presented to BreadTalk Sri Lanka Executive Chef Jaime Aserappa by Food Authority, City of Colombo Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Pradeep Kariyawasam. Given to restaurants and eateries that maintained excellent standards of food hygiene and safety, the gradings were allocated by the Public Health Department of the Colombo Municipal Council after stringent inspections.
