Celebrate Mother’s Day at Cinnamon Lakeside

01Mother's Day is around the corner again, and what better way to celebrate the most wonderful woman in your life than taking them out to a decadent brunch!

On Sunday, 14 May, premier five-star urban resort Cinnamon Lakeside will lay out a lavish spread at The Dining Room for just Rs.3,350nett. With unlimited mocktails on the cards, moms and families can have plenty of fun fuelled by great food and beverages, exceptional service and Lakeside’s customary hospitality.

From cold appetisers and salads to soup, continental favourites, seafood grill and steamed corner, Dim Sum bar, carvery corner, Indian, Sri Lankan and Far Eastern dishes alongside an array of incredible desserts!

The menu, crafted by the Hotel’s expert chefs team includes 100 dishes for families to savour. From salmon gravlax bar to seafood punch, white bean hummus with pomegranate, Thai seafood with cilantro; the range of appetisers and salads surpass ten varieties. Soups such as cigali tomato bisque and oriental lentil with cumin can also be expected.

Char grilled chicken breast with spicy cheese and tomato, tenderloin of beef with bordelaise, oven-baked risotto carbonara, lamb ossobucco with parmesan flakes are part of the continental corner; while prawn friedrice, pork with ginger, steamed garupa with lemongrass, Thai rice noodles will be featured in the Far Eastern section. Indian classics such as mutton biriyani, chicken tikka, paneerbooja and alooghobi have also made it to the menu. From Sri Lankan favourites, yellow rice, spicy crab curry, pork badun, village chicken curry, drumstick meat white curry have been added to the bruch offering.

Seafood grill and steamed corner will serve salmon, scallops, prawns, sea crab and more with plenty of sauce and dressings. Dim sum bar will showcase prawn, scallop, spicy lamb, pork and vegetable varieties.

Several carveries have also been planned such as roast leg of lamb, honey pork, roast turkey and roast beef rib roll.

For desserts, over 30 varieties will be laid out with nougat crumble, chocolate mousse, rainbow panna cotta, tarts, cheesecakes, puddings, cakes, fritters and more.

While the brunch will be on only on Mother’s Day (14 Sunday) from 12noon to 3p.m., Cinnamon Lakeside’s Goodies will make available, some special treats with themed cakes, cupcakes and chocolates on 13 and 14 May.
