Colombo’s Grande Dame, the iconic Galle Face Hotel after completing its second series of Dine by Design recently with the participation of organic cavas and wines from the exotic Penedés region in Spain, will celebrate Valentine’s Day in a unique way.

The 1864 Restaurant and Wine Cellar with casually elegant surroundings will offer a magnificent five-course degustation menu especially curated by Executive Chef Adam Gaunt-Evans and 1864’s Chef de Cuisine Anurudha Weerasingha. This could be enjoyed, at the venue that has always been at the forefront of serving perfectly prepared modern European cuisine at Rs. 10,000 per couple, inclusive of free flow of Bubbles.

Sea Spray Restaurant and Bar – the preferred venue serving a five-course set dinner with a finest selection of seafood, best enjoyed against the spectacular backdrop of the Indian Ocean will present a menu that has been specially created by Executive Chef Adam Gaunt-Evans and Sea Spray’s Chef de Cuisine Jagath Raweendra at Rs, 15,000 per couple, inclusive of free flow of Bubbles (Limited seating available due to this being a sneak preview to the restaurant’s opening).

Valentine’s Afternoon Tea which is a distinctly Galle Face Hotel’s signature experience will offer specialties to ignite and delight your taste buds at Rs. 1,864 or Rs. 3,500 inclusive of free flow of Bubbles.
