Commercial Bank offers big seasonal discounts for cardholders

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC has announced big discounts for Credit and Debit Cardholders during the festive season at 24 popular clothing, footwear, cosmetics and perfume retailers.
Discounts of 10% to 25% will apply on purchases paid for with Commercial Bank Credit Cards while discounts from 10% to 20% will be available on Debit Cards under this promotion on specified days from 6 to 22 December 2013, the bank said.
The participating retailers are Adidas, Beverly Street, CIB, Cool Planet, Crocodile, Diliganz, DSI, Fashion Bug, Glitz, Hameedia, Kreation, Mondy, New Sriyani Dress Point, Nolimit, Pallu, Planet Fashion, Ranjanas, Romafour, Shirtworks, Signature, Spring & Summer, 7STORIES, The Factory Outlet, The Parfumerie, and The Raymond Shop.
At Ranjanas, 7STORIES, Shirtworks and Crocodile, discounts will be offered from 6 to 8 December, while discounts at CIB, DSI, Fashion Bug, New Sriyani Dress Point, Nolimit and Pallu will be offered from 9 to 15 December. Mondy will also join the promotion on 10 and 11 December for both the Credit and Debit Cards, the bank said.
Hameedia, Adidas, Planet Fashion, The Raymond Shop, Signature, The Factory Outlet and The Parfumerie offer discounts for Credit and Debit cards from the 13 to 15 December. From 16 to 22 December discounts on Credit and Debit cards can be obtained from Beverly Street, Spring & Summer, Cool Planet, Diliganz, and Romafour.
“As always, Commercial Bank secures these special offers at times when they matter the most,” said Commercial Bank Card Centre Chief Manager Thusitha Suraweera. “This promotion will help lighten the burden of higher expenses during the season.”
Travel packages
Commercial Bank’s ‘Easy Vacation’ promotion offering discounts up to 50% on Credit Cards for stays at Amaya Resorts and Spas, is currently in progress till 15 December. A promotion by the bank offering a 20% discount on Credit and Debit cards for selected products purchased at Singer Mega, Singer Homes, Singer plus and Sisil World outlets will conclude on 16 December.
Special travel packages from Mackinnons Travels on Credit Cards with 12 month, 18 month, and 24 month installments will be available till 25 December. A discount of 20% on Credit Card purchases from Vijitha Yapa Bookshop, Lake House Bookshop and Sarasavi Bookshop will be on offer till 05 January 2014.
Such promotions significantly enhance the benefits already offered by ‘Comdeals,’ a program which provides value addition to Commercial Bank cardholders through discounts at a number of major retail outlets in the country and 0% easy payment schemes for Credit Cardholders, the Bank said. Commercial Bank Cardholders are also eligible to participate in global promotions carried out by Visa and MasterCard.
