Conscience, the first ethical fashion brand in Sri Lanka, today announced its participation in the Colombo Fashion Week, which is well known to be the backbone of Sri Lanka’s fashion design industry. CFW has paved the way for many budding designers to showcase their talent in an international arena. Conscience uses humour and contradiction as central pillars in their design philosophy. The brand now has collaborated with the iconic automotive brand Land Rover, to introduce a unique collection of summer classics using fine organic cotton grown in the south of India. This innovative fashion collection uses four classic colours - ink blue, black, natural white and khaki - for the main colour story. Conscience supports a concept it calls the ‘supply chain of happiness’ to promote perfect harmony with nature. The collection will be showcased for retailing at the CFW design trunk show hosted by the Galle Face Hotel at the library lounge on 29 and 30 November. It will also be retailed at the iconic ‘PR Store’ situated at Horton place as well as online at www.musthaveconscience.com.
