Launches Loyalty Card with revamped website Colombo’s celebrated and premier hair and beauty destination – The Cutting Station – proudly unveiled its campaign at a soft launch parallely celebrating a strategic tie-up as Johann Peries joined Jeewantha Wijeratne to take the venture overseas. The 2014 campaign depicts the ‘Beauty of Styling’ which The Cutting Station is renowned for. From trendy bobs to wind-blown hair, from natural make-up to the glamorous and dramatic, from conservative nail varnish to nail art, the 2014 Campaign depicts the rich product portfolio The Cutting Station is famous for and passionately caters to its numerous customers. ‘Beauty First’ is the philosophy at The Cutting Station. It’s a refreshing approach; one that means you won’t merely end up with a bob, a layering, a blunt-cut fringe or a scrunch-dried look, but rather a look that enhances your personality and makes heads turn wherever you go. Late last year, ‘The Cutting Station’ ventured beyond the shores of Sri Lanka and opened its first-ever overseas branch in Bristol, thus possibly becoming the first ever Sri Lankan salon to open its doors in England. Situated at Princess Victoria Street, Clifton, in Bristol it operates under the able stewardship of Jeewantha, Johann’s collaborator of many years. Jeewantha brings with him nearly two decades of finely honed skills and experience in the tonsorial art in the UK. He built his career over the years with his salon ‘G Hair Artist’ which is patronised by numerous celebrities including Carol Waterman. Now tying up with his guru, Johann Peries, Jeewantha has, in a very short span of time, successfully made Cutting Station a much sought after venue for the hair and beauty needs of discerning customers not only in Bristol but also in adjacent towns. Enriching the launch celebration in Colombo was also the launch of The Cutting Station’s Loyalty Card Program, the first ever of its kind in Sri Lanka, bringing a range of benefits and offers to its loyal clientele.Added tothis was the re-launch of its new look website –http://thecuttingstation.lk. Established in 1999, The Cutting Station is now an award winning entity and a household name, headed by Sri Lanka’s sought after hairdresser and beautician Johann Peiris. Located at Jawatte Road, one of Colombo’s upscale residential areas, it caters to a very demanding and discerning clientele offering contemporary beauty treatment in sleek settings. The Cutting Station also has a branch outside the metropolis, conveniently stationed amid the salubrious surroundings of the Water’s Edge in Battaramulla. Pix by Daminda Harsha Perera
