Sparkling in immaculate white, clean lines and clear glass, Flower Road has a new icon – the Dilly and Carlo Flagship Store. The building itself stands out, architecturally, from the surrounding old world feel of the road’s buildings. Bold and new-age, it is a three-storied adventure in architecture implemented in Sri Lanka for the first time in the rendered concrete instilled masonry structure style.
With the entire weight of the building being distributed on to the back walls of the building, no pillars and supports mar the seamless glass walls on two sides. What you get is a tantalising look at the colourful discoveries to be made inside.

While the ladies are off admiring the selection at ground level, the gentlemen need only to step up through the central staircase, a feature that especially supports the weight distribution of the building. On the 2nd floor, you will find everything from tailored formal wear to the Carlo boys’ range, catering to men who appreciate style and class.
The third floor is indeed a gathering of unique things. For teen divas and the “hip-and-happening” young adults, the “Tammy” range is a must see. The brightly and bold lingerie section is a new addition too, while most of the floor is dedicated to “Discoveries” that Dilly & Carlo makes and sources for you to enjoy in the comfort of their flagship store. What’s more, bags and gift ideas also abound on the third floor, providing a special shopping experience.
