Hilton Colombo Residences will continue to host ‘Flavours of the Middle East’, a Middle Eastern food promotion at its poolside restaurant, Verandah Bistro until 30 August 2014. This buffet promotion for dinner will be held during Wednesday to Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will offer diners an array of authentic dishes from the Middle East during this period. An A La Carte menu will be offered from Sunday until Tuesday. Striving towards achieving quality and innovative dining experiences, the hotel is working with its sister hotel in Egypt, Hilton Cairo as they brought down guest chef Sabry who will work closely with executive chef Priyal Wijesuriya and his team. To complement the promotion, the Shisha Master Sabry, also from Hilton Cairo will be offering flavourful shisha by the poolside. HSBC cardholders will enjoy 25% savings on total food bill and beverage bill at the Verandah Bistro. “Middle Eastern cuisine is well-loved by Sri Lankans; we believe that by having the guest chef Sabry from Hilton Cairo, Egypt we would be able to increase authenticity in our offer,” said executive chef Priyal Wijesuriya. The buffet will be priced at Rs. 3,100 nett per person; children between the ages of 6 and 12 will dine for half the rate and children below 6 years dine for free.
