Gem Atelier by Rachel Raj unveils exquisite collection of jewellery

Gem Atelier by Rachel Raj was launched on Wednesday at the Taj Samudra Hotel, unveiling an exquisite collection of handcrafted treasures made in Sri Lanka.

This passionate collaboration between two entities – Gem Atelier by Isabel Jamaldeen and Rachel Raj by Sarita Rajandran – has resulted in a stunning selection of distinctive handmade fine fashion jewellery crafted from 18 carat yellow, rose and white gold plated sterling silver using precious and semi-precious gemstones.

Gem Atelier is an innovative jeweller who combines chic and elegant designs with natural precious and semi-precious gem stones of the best quality whilst maintaining the highest level of quality control: Each stone is selected for its size and carat weight and is individually hand cut by expert craftsmen.  Rachel Raj offers a range of luxury resort wear. Each garment is handmade and infused with a story. Each destination and adventure are yours to choose. Each item of clothing is carefully curated using local artisan techniques from traditional Ceylon wax print (also known as batik), hand painting, bohemian embroidery detailing and intricate craftsmanship on luxury fabrics.
