GiftSmart.lk introduces Wishlist, a free multi-store gift registry

GiftSmart.lk introduced Wishlist – the only free online gift registry where users can list their wedding, birthday, anniversary and other gift wishes from over 100 shops in Sri Lanka.

The gift registry is a part of GiftSmart.lk’s mission to “bring back the joy of gifting” by facilitating the gift search and shopping process for the gift givers, while helping their recipients get the gifts they desire.

Wishlist was released at the peak of the wedding season aiming to conquer Sri Lanka’s wedding registry market. To create their Wishlist, users need to visit the GiftSmart.lk website and create a Wishlist page. The pages are customisable and allow the users to sustain the aesthetic of their celebration or wedding theme. They can include event details such as time and venue, and finally, they can list any number of desired items or services from over 100 leading merchants in Sri Lanka.

Users can share their Wishlist via email, social media or simply include their unique URL in the event invitations. By visiting the users’ Wishlist, guests can immediately contribute by creating a GiftSmart Card – a personalised greeting card with a value of choice – in the full or a partial value of any listed gift.

Guests can print their GiftSmart Card and present it at the event, keeping the traditional sentimental value of tangible gifts that remain as souvenirs of a moment and affection. According to De Silva, that is what makes GiftSmart Cards “the perfect gift for any occasion”.
