The Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya has entered into a strategic partnership with The Café Gallery Ltd, a Thailand based company to provide their guests an exclusive luxurious experience of premium specialty Nacha Coffee in the salubrious cool climes of Nuwara Eliya. Nacha Coffee is a 100% premium Arabica shade-grown, in the Nacha Estate Private Reserve in Chiangmai the northern part of Thailand, approx. 3,500 feet above sea level. The coffee is an incredibly smooth well balanced body with an intense bold aroma and delicate bright notes that are characteristics of the pure shade- grown high altitude Arabica. The ‘Grand Hotel Coffee Bar’ located adjacent to the highly patronised and popular ‘Grand Indian’ will be declared open on 12 October 2014 by Gerard Ondaatjie, Managing Director of The Nuwara Eliya Hotels Co PLC (owning company of Grand Hotel) and Warren Ferdinandus, Business Partner of The Café Galley Ltd. The interior settings and décor is elegantly designed to meet with the sophistication and taste of a Galley atmosphere for the perfect cup of coffee. This exquisite Coffee Bar would offer a variety of coffees including Lattes, Cappuccinos, Frappes complemented with some of the most delectable mouthwatering pastries, sandwiches, pizzas and cakes.
