Hameedia hosts Father’s Day event to support ‘My Friend’ project

The management team of Hameedia, Sri Lanka’s leading menswear specialist invites their loyal customers to join them in celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday 15 June at Excel World. Hameedia’s loyal customers and their families are invited to share their love on this special day with over one hundred underprivileged children who are part of the ‘My Friend’ project. At the event, customers will be able to spend time and interact with children who are part of the project and they will also have the opportunity to support these children with their contributions.

The ‘My Friend’ project was initiated by Hameedia Managing Director Fouzul Hameed to support the growth and education of underprivileged children in Sri Lanka. The ‘My Friend’ project promotes the message of ‘staying in school’ and the project is aimed at supporting the country’s underprivileged children in their efforts to better themselves through education regardless of caste, creed or religion.
