Hameedia opens newest branch in Kurunegala

Continuously setting the benchmark in the fashion industry, Hameedia, Sri Lanka’s leading menswear specialist recently opened its newest branch in Kurunegala. 

3The ceremonial opening was attended by the Chief Guest, Minister of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekara, Mayor of Kurunegala Gamini Peramunage, Hameedia Managing Director Fouzul Hameed, Hameedia Group Head of Business Development and Corporate Communications Ameer Hamza and Hameedia Group Marketing Manager Chandima Garumanna. Also present were Hameedia’s senior management and staff as well as members of the local community.

5The ceremonial opening commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the new Hameedia outlet, and the lighting of the traditional oil lamp. The new and exclusive branch is strategically located at No. 37, Negombo Road, Kurunegala with two floors on a floor space of 5,500 square feet and parking facilities for over 25 vehicles. 

The new showroom offers all of Hameedia’s exclusive brands such as Le Bond, Envoy, FH, and Adidas and also offers an extensive range of men’s, ladies’ and kids’ brands. The opening of the new branch will continue to support Hameedia’s constant quest to revolutionise men’s fashion in Sri Lanka.

Commenting on the branch opening, Hameedia Managing Director Fouzul Hameed stated, “Hameedia’s new branch aims to cater to every individual in this area. The new branch will showcase Hameedia’s entire range of brands as well as many international brands that are part of the Hameedia portfolio.
