Hameedias Envoy Mansion launches the world’s best shirt

Colombo’s ultimate men’s lifestyle store, the Envoy Mansion, launched a host of new products and services for the season, followed by the official lighting of the outlet’s Christmas tree by Hameedias Managing Director and renowned men’s fashion expert Fouzul Hameed.



With the launch of the ‘The Best Shirt in Town’, the Envoy Mansion breaks new ground and heralds in the Christmas season by offering its discerning customers a specially dedicated space where they would be able to select from a range of the finest shirts in Colombo which includes a variety of international brands, including Sri Lanka’s home grown luxury brand, Envoy.

Speaking at the launch, Hameedias Managing Director Fouzul Hameed stated: “Today is a very special day for us as we launch the best shirt in the world which is the culmination of a lot of effort and work put into the concept by the team as well as the best materials, accessories, the technical knowhow and the reputation to back this claim confidently.”

Hameed further claimed that the new product will be reasonably priced and will offer a host of custom options for a discerning customer such as personalised monogramming and attention to detail.

In addition, the company’s new mobile application ‘Ensemble’ was also launched, promising an interactive shopping experience loaded with a host of innovative functions.

Speaking on the new mobile application, Envoy Mansion Senior Brand Manager Rizwan Mahmooth stated: “Mobile apps are a very popular method of shopping in the West.

 This is the very first time that such an initiative is being launched in Sri Lanka and we’re proud to be the first to blaze the trail. We will have suits, shirts, trousers, accessories etc. on this application which customers will be able to purchase at the touch of a button. Any GPRS enabled smartphone can be used for this service.”

Also launched the same evening was the official Envoy Mansion website  www.envoymansion.com, which will offer shoppers the unique opportunity of purchasing goods available at the Envoy Mansion online, as well as make use of the store’s other offerings such as tailoring, made-to-measure and other bespoke services. Hameed stated in conclusion, “This is just the beginning of a series of exciting events and happenings at the Envoy Mansion. 2013 promises to be an even more exciting year at the Mansion as we plan to roll out a host of international fashion shows, Italian couture collections and much more.”
