Hilton Colombo Residences announced the Thai food promotion it would host at its main restaurant, Union Bar & Grill. This buffet promotion for dinner will be held between 20 February and 08 March 2014 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will offer diners an array of authentic Thai dishes during this period. American Express cardmembers will enjoy 30% savings on total food bill for the food promotion at Union Bar & Grill. Salad-lovers are in for a treat with a range that consists of ‘Spicy Grilled Duck Salad with Roast Rice’, ‘Spicy Green Papaya Salad with Dried Shrimps’, ‘Spicy Squid Salad with Lemon Grass’, ‘Spicy Lemongrass Salad with Mussel’, ‘Spicy Sun Dried Snapper Salad with Mango’, and ‘Spicy Grilled Squid Salad’. The dining offer will consist of main buffet items such as ‘Roast Duck Curry with Lychee’, ‘Fried Blue Crab with Yellow Curry Sauce’, ‘Fried Asparagus and Beef’, ‘Thai Massaman Lamb Curry’, ‘Fried Duck with Crispy Herbs’, ‘Green Seafood Curry’, ‘Chili Fried Salmon with Green Pepper Corns’ and ‘Steamed Chili Mussel with and Lime Sauce’ amongst many others. Desserts are from Thailand and full of mystique! He collected his culinary experiences as a member of the opening teams of the Emerald Hotel Bangkok, Amari Atrium Hotel Bangkok and Westin Hotel, Bangkok. He also worked in various world-renowned hotels such as the Kuwait International Hotel, Shangri-la Hotel Taiwan, Shangri-la Hotel China, St. Gally Hotel, East Sussex in England, and Grand Lido Resort and Spa in Havana, Cuba, before joining the Conrad Bangkok.
