The holy month of Ramazan has approached. Dine at Spices or Curry Leaf restaurant in Hilton Colombo from 28 June to 31 July and enjoy a complimentary platter of Ifthar snacks to break fast.
The extensive buffet at Spices features cuisines from around the world, giving the discerning customer a variety to choose from. The authentic Sri Lankan restaurant Curry Leaf offers a combination of Sri Lankan flavours and a variety of seafood dishes which would be a perfect break fast dining experience.
Ifthar refers to the evening meal when Muslims around the world break their fast during the month of Ramazan. Ifthar is one of the religious observances of Ramazan and is often done as a community. Homes of Muslims prepare snacks such as samosas, cutlets, rolls and much more. After the sun sets, the fast is broken with a meal known as Ifthar. Ifthar usually begins with dates and sweet drinks that provide a quick energy boost.
“The special snack platter includes a glass of fresh fruit juice, dates, chicken or mutton conjee, fresh fruits, vegetable samosa, mixed salad and mutton rolls with hot garlic sauce,” said the hotel’s Marketing Communications Manager Gigi De Silva. “We look forward to welcoming our guests who I’m sure can look forward to a wholesome meal after the long hours of fasting.”
Moreover the in-house guests are offered the Sahar menu in the morning which could be ordered through In Room Dining.
