Hilton Colombo Residences announced its next culinary promotion ‘Journey to the Spice Islands’, an Indonesian food promotion with Chef Kiagoos from Hilton Bandung, Indonesia. The promotion commenced on 18 June and will be on until 28 June, open for dinner from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. A buffet will be offered from Wednesday until Saturday, in conjunction with a 25% savings on total bill with all HSBC credit cards. An A La Carte menu will be made available daily. The promotion will be held at the poolside restaurant, Verandah Bistro; the restaurant has been revamped with new interior, and boasts of both indoor and alfresco dining options. With much emphasis on driving quality, the hotel launched the second phase of its dining projects, the new bar and lounge, last month and will debut the final stage, a new multi-cuisine restaurant, by early next year. “Indonesian cuisine is next in line at the hotel as we have featured Thailand, Vietnam, German, Italian and Middle Eastern prior to this; we strongly believe that Colombo will enjoy this dynamic cuisine which offers influences from around the Asian region,” said Executive Chef Priyal Wijesuriya. He further commented that by hosting international promotions, HCR continues to establish itself as a destination that offers quality and authenticity. The buffet is priced at Rs. 3,100 nett per person; children between the ages of six and 12 will dine for half the rate and children below six years dine for free.
