iOM expands its customer base in the Middle East with the installation of Retailigence (Point-of-Sale and Inventory/Distribution Software) at Intersports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Kuwait.
Intersport is a multi-branded store selling more than 200 brands and currentlyhave six locations/outlets across KSA and Kuwait. Some of the better known brands include Reebok, Billabong, Adidas, Nike, Puma, CK, Crocs, Dunlop, Aqua Eva, Havaianas, Jansport, Mikasa, New Balance, Panasonic, Polar, Q-Sportz, Vans and Yonex.
Retailigence caters to the Fashion and Lifestyle industry for both retail and wholesale markets and is already used by Royal Sporting House in over 150 outlets in the UAE and another 300 outlets in Singapore and Malaysia.
The iOM Group, celebrating its 35th year in operation was one of earliest technology companies in the Asian Region to provide software solutions and services. The Group expanded its operations to many countries in the region throughout the eighties. iOM commenced the implementation of its own software solutions such as HRPro, WinPOS and Retailigence during this period. Since the year 2000, iOM became a multi-product company and was a reseller for Oracle, Microsoft, Infor SunSystems, and IBM.
iOM Lanka, the Sri Lankan subsidiary of the Singapore based iOM Holdings (formerly known as EDS) is the Development and International Support hub for the Group. iOM Lanka also provides IT outsourcing to customers in Malaysia, Dubai and Vietnam. iOM has implemented over 500 systems worldwide.
