Janashakthi provides travel insurance protection to The Old Joes’ Choir

At World Choir Games in Latvia Janashakthi Worldwide Travel Insurance has stepped forward as the Insurance Partner for The Old Joes’ Choir as they make a bid for gold at the eighth World Choir Games. The World Choir Games has been dubbed the ‘Choir Olympics’, and was initiated in 2000 in order to unite people across the world through music. The Old Joes’ Choir is comprised of past students of St. Joseph’s College, who share a passion for choral music. Formed in 1997, the choir has held several successful concerts and is now ready to perform on a global stage. As insurance partner, Janashakthi Insurance will be providing The Old Joes’ Choir with travel insurance for the duration of the World Choir Games, which is being held in Riga, Latvia. “St. Joseph’s College has pioneered choral and spiritual music in Sri Lanka since its inception. The Old Joes’ Choir will be competing in the barbershop and the musica sacra (sacred music) with accompaniment categories. In the run up to the World Choir Games, a special preview concert was held at the Lionel Wendt theatre on 27 June. Under Janashakthi’s worldwide travel insurance policy, The Old Joes’ Choir is protected for USD 50,000 Indoor hospitalisation and medical expenses, USD 50,000 personal accident together with personal liability coverage and compensation in the event of losing valuables such as luggage, personal effects, and even passports. “Our heartfelt thanks go out to Janashakthi for providing us with travel insurance.
