Jewellery befitting royalty from ZAM Gems adorns Kingsbury

Gems and jewellery befitting royalty was put on display at Kingsbury Hotel recently, with the opening of the world renowned ZAM Gems latest showroom. The excitement-fuelled enthusiastic gathering present at this prestigious event was all agog with the fascinating range of bewitchingly designed jewellery items and glittering gems available at this latest ZAM Gems showroom.



Foreigners who could not resist the attraction to the showroom were enthralled by the superb craftsmanship of the jewellery and the elegant styles of the eye-catching items that kept them virtually spellbound.       

ZAM Gems Chairman Z.A.M. Refai traced the unique history of the company: “ZAM GEMS was established in 1973. The first showroom was opened in 1976, at the Macan Markar Arcade Kolluptiya, and the rest as they say, is history. Today, ZAM GEMS has 13 showrooms in Sri Lanka, China, Malaysia, Maldives and Qatar, with a customer base in every corner of the world.

“We are honoured to be the market leader in foreign currency sales of gems and jewellery in Sri Lanka for many consecutive years now. We are set to open another showroom next month at the world renowned Centura Resorts Pasikudah.”

He went onto say that “Our dazzling array of high quality gems and jewellery, which are manufactured by hand and sophisticated machinery, are purchased by discerning dignitaries in Sri Lanka and around the globe, who repeatedly patronise our showrooms for their requirements of gems and jewellery, this is in keeping with our motto ‘once a customer, always a customer’.”

Concluding his speech, he thanked everyone for encouraging him to put Sri Lankan craftsmanship right at the top in the world of exquisite and irresistible gems and jewellery.
