Kandy Schools Past Pupils’ Association’s Kandy Vibes at Waters Edge on Sunday

The show will comprise of a wide variety of artists acclaimed personalities and school children who have a common affinity, all hailing from the hill capital Kandy and one ultimate goal, to work towards providing a hostel in Colombo for children of all schools in Kandy who travel to Colombo to represent their schools. A fusion of diverse talents showcased in a futuristic presentation will have the audience enthralled to the end.

The Kandy Schools Past Pupils Association Popularly known as KSPPA consisting of 12 schools was formed in Colombo to foster unity, revive friendships of yester years and work towards a common project for the benefit of school children hailing from Kandy, past and present.

Inaugurated in 2007 this association has grown from strength to strength, boasting of more than 2,000 participants in the annual events, which was enjoyed and loved by all.

Kandy Vibes has been organised by the KSPPA to felicitate the stars bred in Kandy, to showcase the talents of the present students, and most importantly to raise funds for the hostel project.

Well-known personalities such as Keerthi Pasqual, Chandrika Siriwardena, Sanath Gunathilake, Iranganie Serasinghe, T.M. Jayaratne, Amarasiri Kalansooriya, Duleeka Marapana, Nadeeka Gunasekera, Sanoja Bibile, Roshan Pilapitiya, Clifford Richards and Suraj Mapa have rallied together to make it a memorable show. The event will be also be graced by two leading cricketers produced by Kandy Kumar Sangakkara and Muttaiah Muralitharan
