Sri Lanka’s annual Hotel Show is a unique platform organised to showcase the newest products and technologies in the hospitality sector. Koala Ltd., recognised for its comprehensive portfolio of luxurious and exclusive brands, will launch its new exciting range including Nude, Robert Welch, Forbes Industries Asia during this year’s Hotel Show scheduled from 22-24 July at the BMICH.
Koalas presence in the last two exhibitions, displayed its high end professional collections comprising Oneida table top solutions, Saint Andrea Flatware (cutlery), Spain’s Vicrilla glassware and its own Koala products.
All brands introduced this year too are designed especially for busy environments within the HORECA sector (hotel, restaurant and catering). Koala acts as the exclusive distributor in Sri Lanka for all international brands displayed at the stall.
“This year too we showcase a multitude of high-value offerings. All the pieces are world renowned and offer excellent quality products to our customers,” said Imtiaz Azeez, Head of Sales and Business Development, Koala Ltd.
Istanbul-based global design brand NUDE, will be introduced to the local market offering contemporary and timeless designs in mainly crystal glassware ideal for modern living and fine dining in hotels and even homes. NUDE offers a comprehensive range of lead free crystal glassware both handmade (blown) and machine made.
At the Koala stall, the world’s leading manufacturer of hotel and food/restaurant service equipment provider Forbes Industries Asia, will display its wide range of banqueting and housekeeping equipment manufactured in USA, Thailand and China.
Forbes Asia presents the hospitality sector with quality products that are both functional and durable, with features that enhance operational efficiency, user-friendliness and safety. Visitors to the stall will have the opportunity to meet with Michael Koo, President, Forbes Industries Asia Ltd., to gain more information on the showcased products.
“Michael Koo will also speak to the housekeeping, food & beverage professionals about their range and offerings,” noted Azeez.
“The Forbes specialty is they tailor products based on customer needs providing a complete solution rather than just a product. That is something unique in Forbes,” he added.
Leading International chains in the country including Hilton and the newly launched Shangri-La’s Hambantota Resort & Spa have installed equipment supplied by Forbes Asia. To serve its customers better, Forbes Asia have recently appointed Koala as the exclusive distributor for their product range in Sri Lanka.
Another world class product exhibited at the Hotel Show is Robert Welch, provider of premium cutlery, kitchen knives and tableware to restaurants, hotels and hospitality businesses around the globe. Elegant in design yet robust for daily use, the Robert Welch collection is unique as it is mostly handmade or machine made.
The Robert Welch Kitchen range includes professional knives for chefs and cutlery for banquets and household needs. They have also supplied Shangri-La Resort & Spa, Hambantota and Koala has been appointed sole distributor to support its local operations.
Under its own Koala brand, the company will also display a range of crystal clear, virtually unbreakable polycarbonate containers, ideal for outdoor use by the hotel sector. Koala is also a preferred supplier of Stainless Steel fabrications like work tables, sinks, trolleys, canopies, exhaust ducting, etc. used mainly in hotel kitchens and hospitals.
Present at the Koala stall will be Alisdair Wilcox, Sales Consultant Asia & Middle East, from Vicrila and Adrien Hanger, Managing Director Asia and Middle East, from Oneida.
