Koala’s new Kandy showroom offers modern contemporary themes

Reaffirming its premier position in offering an eclectic selection of stylish interiors and exquisite décor, Koala Ltd. launched its first ever retail branch in Kandy recently. Koala Ltd. is a subsidiary of Ceyoka, a leading Sri Lankan diversified company.

The new showroom was ceremonially declared open by Koala Ltd. Managing Director Harshith Dharmadasa and Devon Hotel Group (a prestigious business chain) Chairman Gamini Weeraratne.

The launch also introduced Koala’s range of residential, commercial, interior concepts and products as well as foodservice and hospitality products inspired to meet the finest tastes to guests, well-wishers and customers in attendance.

An established UK interior designer and sofa fabrication expert, who now functions as the design and production consultant at Koala was on hand to present the new furniture designs and explain the story behind Koala’s products and concept offerings. 

The new four-story Koala Kandy showroom also features KOALA 18/10 Stainless Flatware, Vicrilla Glassware from Spain, Oneida and Sant Andrea Flatware and Buffet ware.

Attendees at the event experienced Koala’s service offerings to the commercial interiors market featuring modular tables, office chairs, carpets, ceilings and blinds.

The company marked the opening of the new Koala Kandy showroom with the launch of its exclusive line of sofas. These carefully selected products ensure that each piece can emerge as the showpiece of a room with a new level of comfort.

Designed with busy living in mind Sofa No.1 is ideal for modern living and small spaces. The Villa Sofa offers versatility in simplicity while the London Sofa provides an uncompromising sophisticated look and feel that is both generous and welcoming.

Modern contemporary interior lifestyle admirers can also look forward to the re-launch of Koala’s flagship store located at Green Path in, Colombo during the latter part of this year. The main showroom in Colombo and Kandy branch features concepts, products and solutions dedicated to contemporary lifestyles.
