Krrish takes to the ramp with HSBC CFW

The Krrish Group has announced that they will partner with HSBC Colombo Fashion Week (HSBC CFW) 2013, synergising the group’s objective of being a trendsetter themselves in both luxury and innovation evident in the fashion industry. Whilst CFW is already one of Sri Lanka’s most anticipated events, Krrish Group believes this partnership will support and enhance the profile of the country’s design industry on an international stage.

This is the 10th anniversary of HSBC CFW and thus, the Krrish Group keeping in line with their objective, comes forward to celebrate the development of the fashion industry in Sri Lanka. Speaking about the association, M.R. Gupta stated: “To me it felt like a natural fit. Our project, Krrish Square, will provide the infrastructure and ambience to attract the leading fashion players of the world, inducing them to set up their business houses here in Colombo.

“In showcasing local talent and hosting international names, HSBC CFW helps to put Colombo on the map, much as Krrish Square will do. The Krrish Group and CFW can inspire the wonderful natural talent in this country, to meet and surpass the needs of the growing populace of discerning customers who demand the highest international standards. Krrish Square is currently one of the 10 biggest projects in the world, in terms of scope and complexity. The iconic complex will decorate Colombo’s skyline, promoting luxury living and setting benchmarks in South Asian real estate. In its landmark year, HSBC CFW will take to the catwalk on 3, 4 and 5 April 2013. It will feature a total of 31 designers, including 10 high-profile international trendsetters from eight different countries, and 20 household names from the Sri Lankan fashion scene.
