Ladies VIP Night – AllDressedUp brings shopping, pampering, food and fun to Cinnamon Lakeside

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo partners with the Annix Group to present the first of a series of ladies VIP events. The ladies VIP Night, AllDressedUp will bring together women to network, celebrate friendships and make new ones, all in a safe and fun environment for a night out with a cause. The event is in aid of the IDE School which focuses on empowering children with special needs.  

The inaugural event will take place on 15 May 2013 at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s signature floating restaurant, 8 Degrees on the lake and its stunning lakefront garden venue, Waterside. The venues will be made over for the event, with the beautiful 8 Degrees on the lake being transformed to offer spa and luxury treatments.

AllDressedUp creates a forum for ladies to indulge in high-end health and beauty, luxury jewellery and fashion products and experiences in air-conditioned comfort. The brands associated are by local businesses from Colombo and Galle and include Aashkii, Amani, Amanté, Anything.lk, Ashram Fine Arts (Heidi London Sunglasses), Aurora Mirano Glass Venezia, Aussie Swim Store, Azmaara Spa, Cantaloupe Jewels, Carpets by Dhanak, Desert Diamonds, Glitterati, Mimimango, Nail Spa, Originals Furniture, Photobooths Sri Lanka, Rumours Hair Salon, Satin Wilder, Silk Road Interiors, The Old Railway, Theva Residency, Touché, True Blue, Trunk, U for Upeksha and 1948 by Shobi Cooke.  Participating vendors will be profiled and updated on the hotel Facebook page, www.facebook.com/cinnamonlakeside.

Ladies will be greeted with a signature Cinnamon Lakeside beverage and welcomed to take in the electric energy of the evening’s activities against the tranquil Beira Lake. Balinese therapists from the internationally recognised and well awarded Azmaara Spa at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo will perform complimentary ten-minute foot reflexology sessions on appointment. An Arabic Lounge will offer Sheisha by the lake. Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s Executive Chef will perform cookery demonstrations.  The hotel’s award winning mixologists and flair bartenders will share their secrets behind popular cocktails from the 7 Degrees North menu.  The evening will also include a demonstration of the award winning CACI treatment by Rumours Hair Salon and a relaxing VIP Lounge by Originals who will be showcasing furniture for the individual.

A unique shopping experience brings together a host of sophisticated brands at one venue and every lady will take home a bagful of gifts worth over Rs. 3000. No ladies night is complete without the chance to let ones hair down and slap on those dancing shoes. The dancing will continue until the early hours and will be fuelled by club mixes by DJ Kapila. The entire experience including dinner is available at just Rs. 2,500 all inclusive. The event will also serve a purpose beyond fun and enjoyment with a component of the ticket sales donated to the chosen charity, the IDE School, to help improve the facilities such as teaching tools and equipment.
