Michael Sarnacki at the American Center Colombo

The American Center Colombo will host a photography exhibition and a presentation on the Sri Lanka and the Kandy Esala Perahera – a photographic masterpiece by Michael Sarnacki.

Sarnacki is an American photographer who lives and works in his home studio in Royal Oak, Michigan. He documented the lives of the people in Kandy as he photographed, researched, and wrote about this spiritual event.

His extended effort is now presented in the form of a beautiful book titled ‘Sri Lanka and the Kandy Esala Perahera.’

The photography exhibition will commence at 3.30 p.m. on Monday, 6 August at the American Center and will be followed by the presentation at 4.30 p.m.
