Mobitel powers MyStore.lk, the largest online store in Sri Lanka

National mobile service provider Mobitel has partnered with MyDeal.lk for the launching of its latest initiative MyStore.lk, an online store that is expected to become the largest online store in Sri Lanka to revolutionise the customer shopping experience, by eliminating the necessity to be physically present for any purchase of products and services. MyStore.lk offers the widest range of products ranging from electronics including computers, cameras, phones, tablets and accessories to beauty and personal care products, home and kitchen appliances, furniture, linen, jewellery, toys, books and more. MyStore.lk services are driven by a need to provide its valuable customers a memorable online shopping experience. The successful partnerships built between MyDeal.lk and leading consumer brands over the years, in addition to a number of other brands, have paved the way for an extended partnership with the innovative MyStore.lk online store. Singer Sri Lanka, Dinapala Group, Delmege Forsyth, Brown & Company, Metropolitan Group and Daya Group are some of the leading companies that would offer customers a convenient opportunity to purchase brands such as Samsung, Black & Decker, Sony, Singer, Phillips, Canon, Nikon, Acer, LG, Whirlpool, JBL, Prestige, Sharp, Haier and Belkin amongst a wide range of other products on MyStore.lk. Mobitel Senior General Manager – Marketing Nalin Perera commenting on the occasion stated: “In the past decade Mobitel has invested over $ 500 million to create the best internet network coverage to ensure a superior service to our customers. We have also added 1000 base-stations that are LTE-ready, which is far ahead of many developed countries. We are proud to partner with a local company that is fast growing such as MyDealk.lk and feel privileged to support them with our ICT expertise.” Managing Director of MyStore.lk Damitha Ginigaddarage stated: “Retail success is no longer about physical stores and it is evident with the increase in retailers that now offer online store interfaces for consumers. We are excited about this venture and expect it be a huge success amongst our clients.” Both MyStore.lk and MyDeal.lk could be accessed through a single sign-in using the ‘MyAccount.lk’ service, which allows customers to switch between the two accounts with the single sign-in to manage orders, delivery statuses and to correspond directly with both MyStore.lk and MyDeal.lk to gather more information for added convenience. Support tickets can also be raised directly from an account to MyStore.lk and MyDeal.lk and any future additions to the business network. MyStore.lk would carry out deliveries free of charge within Colombo 1-15 and personally ensure that all deliveries are sent to its customers on time. The customer could opt for Cash on Delivery for orders less than Rs. 25,000 where purchase could be settled once the goods are received.
