The Singing Christmas Tree at Mount Lavinia Hotel came alive on Friday 16 December and will continue until 23 December, adding to the line-up of events at the colonial heritage hotel. Featuring a host of angelic voices of choirs from several leading schools in Colombo, the Singing Christmas Tree has become an iconic event at MLH, looked forward to by many. Over the last three days, the Singing Christmas Tree was brought to life by the choirs of St. Joseph’s College – 16 December, St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa – 17 December and Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena – 18 December. This week will feature Prestentia Music School – 19 December, Asian International School Colombo 5 – 20 December, Lyceum International, Nugegoda – 21 December, St. Benedict’s College – 22 December, and St. Mary’s Ensemble – 23 December.
