The North American Women’s Association (NAWA) established in 1952 will once again host the Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday 1 March at the Cinnamon Grand Ballroom with Misty and DJ Danushka in attendance.
The non-profit organisation focuses primarily on how they can uplift and support women and children with special needs throughout Sri Lanka. It is their policy that all monies raised from this Ball and other fund raising opportunities are given directly to those in need. Throughout the years the women in NAWA have made it a priority to visit and spend time with the charities they support. Through these visits they are able to see firsthand how their contributions continue to provide support and encouragement to others.
The Mardi Gras Ball is their main fund raiser and they hope to continue with their efforts to better the life of those less fortunate now and in the future.
The entrance ticket includes a sumptuous dinner buffet with wine, black label scotch, vodka and beer. Pre party cocktails and canapés will also be served. So hurry now to reserve your tickets and be there for the best party in town.
