ODEL returns as Fashion Retail Advisor to HSBC Colombo Fashion Week

Sri Lanka’s top fashion retailer Odel has been appointed Fashion Retail Advisor to the 2014 HSBC Colombo Fashion Week and has announced it will once again support the country’s leading designers.
Comprising of more than 30 fashion shows and related events, the 2014 Colombo Fashion Week is expected to feature 20 Sri Lankan and 10 international designers whose creations will be modelled by 40 local and 15 foreign models. Activities connected to the event begin on 3 February, building up to the main events on 6, 7 and 8 February.
Odel also supported designers who participated in the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week Resort Wear show in Galle in October last year, providing some of them an opportunity to display and sell their creations at its Alexandra Place store.
Besides its role as Fashion Retail Advisor to the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week, Odel will also be an active participant in this year’s event. Otara jeans, the svelte women’s wear masterpieces that made their catwalk debut at the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week in 2012, will return to the fashion runway for the second time at this event.
