Oriflame Sri Lanka launched its newest range of beauty products by unveiling the trendy ‘Power of Red’ collection at the Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo. While the collection comprises an array of cosmetic items, the highlight of the ‘Power of Red’ range is the chic business bag, over-nighter and the trolley bag which Miss Sri Lanka 2012 Sumudu Prasadini glamorously paraded to the audience present at the launch.

The hot red colour radiates strong and powerful energy along with passion and action, and the quilted design of the bags adds elegance and style to any outfit. The adjustable removable strap in the business bag allows the wearer to flaunt it as a handbag or as a cross body bag. Featuring an inner zip pocket to hold small personal items, the roomy interior fits even a laptop.

Made available in the market since March 2013, Oriflame claims that the ‘Power of Red’ is an in-trend sophisticated bag collection that every beauty conscious woman who takes pride in looking good would pose with.

Having launched its latest recruiting campaign in mid-February, Oriflame used the unveiled collection to increase the sales force of the company. Oriflame Country Director Sanjay Pushkarana stated that the uniqueness of the campaign is that the ‘Power of Red’ collection would have to be earned by the sales force and cannot be brought.

He said: “We are committed to making dreams come true and are fully geared to make your expectations a reality.” Pushkarana added that Oriflame Sri Lanka will continue to introduce innovative products to ensure that it stays on par with the latest global trends while extending the best possible quality products available in the world of cosmetics to Sri Lankan consumers.

Oriflame, an international beauty company engaged in direct selling in more than 60 countries worldwide, has been active in Sri Lanka from 1997. Since its inception, the company has offered business opportunities to people who want to make money while working towards fulfilling their ambitions through its unique business concept ‘Make Money Today and Fulfil Your Dreams Tomorrow’. With a presence in the country for 15 years, Pushkarana stated that Oriflame has a base of 67 employees and has over 500 individuals joining the company’s sales force every month.

Pledging a new brand promise of ‘your dreams, our inspiration’, Oriflame will take 19 individuals who would be recognised as its top performing personalities on the Oriflame Gold Cruise in 2014. While 13 people went to Dubai, UAE, last year through the motivational scheme, the Gold Cruise will take 54 performing individuals from Oriflame worldwide to three countries for an eight day trip.
