People’s Bank hosts Bakthi Geetha in celebration of Vesak at Bauddhaloka Vesak Kalapaya

A performance of Bakthi Geetha in commemoration of the recent Vesak celebration was organised by the Arts Circle of People’s Bank. The event was a part of the ITN Bauddhaloka Vesak Kalapaya held in Colombo 07. 

Two years ago, People’s Bank hosted the first ever presentation of the traditional Bhakthi Geetha in Tamil in Anuradhapura. Creating another memorable milestone, the bank brought this experience to Colombo allowing those gathered at the Bauddhaloka Vesak Kalapaya to enjoy a performance of these songs in the Tamil language. 

Amongst the invitees was Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar along with the corporate and executive management team of People’s Bank.
