President Mahinda Rajapaksha visited Kandy City Centre last week. Kandy City Centre Chairman Thusitha Wijayasena welcomed the President and provided a guided tour of the Centre which has over 70 retail outlets and a food court is equipped with its own power, water and air conditioning system. President’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath, Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake and Government Agent Gamini Senevirathna were associated with President during the visit.
