Ramani Arsecularatne International Academy receives Star Award for Quality in Geneva

Ramani Arsecularatne Academy headed by Ramani Arsecularatne has received the prestigious B.I.D International Star for Quality Convention in Geneva, making it the only academy in South East Asia a recipient of this award.



“We are honoured to have received this award in appreciation and recognition of the hard work and dedication we have put in to improve the vocational training industry in Sri Lanka and for maintaining high standards and quality in the process,” said Arsecularatne.

Ramani Arsecularatne International Academy Ltd. received the International Star Award for Quality in the Gold Category among 58 other countries represented at this international event, which recognises achievements in quality and excellence. The award is issued on mere nominations and not through applications or other means. The winners often do not come to know who their nominee was.

The Ramani Arsecularatne Academy received the Gold award for its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation. B.I.D cited the academy to “represent success for Sri Lanka in the business world”.

“The awarded companies are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology, and innovation making them models for others in their sectors,” said President of B.I.D., Jose E. Prieto.

He further acknowledged that the ISAQ International Star Award for Quality recognises the strong commitment to quality and excellence.

Managing Director Ramani Arsecularatne received the ISAQ in the Intercontinental of Geneva, from Prieto.  

In attendance at the event were other outstanding business personalities and members of the diplomatic corps. The B.I.D. quality symbol is known and present in 178 countries around the world.

The Ramani Arsecularatne International Academy of Cosmetology and Fine Arts has been the leader in vocational training in Sri Lanka for the past 26 years and has produced thousands of the finest and the most creative individuals to the trades of beauty, hair dressing, and arts and crafts.
