Samaposha, the flagship cereal brand of Plenty Foods (Pvt) Ltd., a subsidiary of Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL) launched 4GB, a ready to eat grain bar as the latest addition to its range of nutritious products. Dinesh Chandimal, a promising young Sri Lankan cricketer, has come on board as the Brand Ambassador.

The nutritious bar, made up of four main grains; rice, corn, green gram and soya is a perfect ‘quick bite’ that fits the busy lifestyles of today’s dynamic young adults. An energising snack to have in-between meals, this product is ideal for today’s adolescents who are challenged with studies, sports and various extracurricular activities.

Rice and corn consist of carbohydrate, an essential nutrient for the human body that provides energy. Green gram and Soya on the other hand provide protein, which is necessary for the building and repairing of the body’s tissues.

Enriched with vitamins and minerals, 4GB comes in three variants; Nutra, Raisin and Choxy. Nutra consists of nutritious Samaposha bubbles soaked in syrup and is easy to consume while ‘Raisin’ consists of soft mouth-watering raisins inserted into an extended ‘Nutra’ bar for those who want more and ‘Choxy’ is an extended ‘Nutra’ bar with sumptuous crust of chocolate on top. All products are packed in laminated wrapper preventing any loss of taste and aroma of the product.

“I have always been a fan of nutritious product Samaposha, and 4GB perfectly suits my busy lifestyle,” said Dinesh Chandimal, Brand Ambassador for 4GB. “It is a most convenient snack to take along when I travel abroad with my team and satisfies my constant need for nutrition and healthy living as a Cricketer. As my life is full of expectations and ambition, 4GB really helps me to be more and do more,” Chandimal said.

Samaposha, by Plenty Foods (Pvt) Ltd., is a brand renowned for its portfolio of nutritious products and continuously advocates nutrition and vitality among young children and the youth. Plenty Foods (Pvt) Ltd. manufactures 4GB using only locally grown grains and pulses such as green gram, soya, rice and corn sourced directly from the 8,000 plus farmer who are registered with the company’s backward integration program.
