‘Seylan Tikiri’ is always in the forefront of inculcating the savings habit among the younger generation and conducting innovative promotions for its Tikiri account holders. The ‘Baby & You’ family fair 2015 is undoubtedly the most exciting event of the year for this consumer segment with a massive participation of expecting mothers, parents and kids. The fair was held from 30 January to 1 February at the BMICH for the third consecutive year and ‘Seylan Tikiri’ was the ‘Official Banking partner’ at the event. “‘Seylan Tikiri’ as the premier minor savings account brand in the country was proud to be a part of this event, which helped us to interact with our core customer segment and spread the message of the brand,” said Deputy General Manager – Personal Banking and Marketing Tilan Wijeyesekera. ‘Seylan Tikiri’ joined hands with ‘Baby & You’ with the purpose of connecting with a diverse audience of parents, parents to be and kids with family members to promote its unique ‘gift scheme’ and latest ‘Grade 01 Promotion’ at the ‘Seylan Tikiri’ stall. The instant branded photograph was the most attractive activation at the Tikiri Stall and was posted on FB to connect with the audience online. The special gift display educated both parents and kids on the available gifts of ‘Seylan Tikiri’. ‘Seylan Tikiri’ stall received a tremendous response from the kids and parents through its attractive gifts and raffle draw. This resulted in receiving a large amount as deposits to Tikiri accounts during the exhibition and also a large number of Tikiri Accounts were opened at the stall and they were surprised with additional gifts received apart from the regular gifts that they were entitled for which they receive based on their account balance. The children’s account that offers a ‘World of Benefits for the little ones’ is always in the forefront to be the sponsor of events which are close to the kids’ hearts.
